Personally I think Pete Rose should be in the hall of fame, but I think the era that he played in played a big part. Personally I think most players bet on games, and we all know that MJ is a player who plays and this link focuses on MJ. I feel Pete Rose had the same impact on MLB that MJ had on the NBA. I just found this story kind of interesting.

the link

ps. I don't know how credible the source is but it seems to make sense:confused:

I dunno about that one. I think Jordan's dominance in his particular sport was probably the greatest of all time. I think this especially holds true when you look at the player's careers AFTER the Jordan era. He was not only exceptional, but brought out the best in all his teammates as well. The guy won SIX NBA Championships WITHOUT the contribution of an effective big man. I don't nobody bring up the name Will Perdue...:nono: :nono: :nono: :nono:

Neemer--

You mean Luc Longley wasn't a star? LOL.

As for players gambling, we know Albert Belle gambled heavily and we know he used a corked bat so he was a cheater. I don't think Rose bet against himself, but I wouldn't be shocked if Belle did.
