problem with cookies on my computer

I just got home from an extended trip and turned my computer back on, but when I tried to log on to hotmail or yahoo fantasy sports, it would not let me.

It keeps saying that I don't have cookies enabled, but I went to the TOOLS, OPTIONS, PRIVACY and enabled all cookies, so I don't know what the problem is.

Also, I went to the windows update site, and I'm getting an error message there when it searches for new updates to install.

I have 2 computers, and the other one is just fine.

What is the problem here?

What versionof windows???

Check your options in advanced, do you have an over ride set???

had a similiar problem and had to reinstall my java

Try going into your cookie files and deleting any cookies yahoo might have sent. People are having problems with this exact problem and the reason seems to be corrupted files from there.
