True Story:
I was the only person in America I think that was cheering agaisnt the US women when they beat Red China two years ago. I had the Chinese at +140 (I think that was the price). I was in a bar in Atlantic City and the place was going nuts. It was like the 1980 US Olympic Hockey win all over again. Just bonkers! I was sitting there and when they got to the shootout, 1-1, 2-2, 3-3, etc. I was pumping my fists in the air every time one of the Chinese made a goal. I got several bad looks and even a few shouts of "Shut up!" After it was over I had some guy come up to me and ask me if I was "an American." Oh I better not tell you the rest. It' gets ugly from then on.
I lost my wager of course, but the smart was was on the Chinese girls.
