Prov -3 over Siena
Siena is coming off a X-Mas touney win in Montana.Team is 7-3 playing well.Lanier has a balanced attack with Karawanga winning the MVP.They rank nationally in rebounding and play solid defense.Jordan has come off the bench and scored 15 and 16 pts in their last 2 games.Andrews and Miller are playing great in the paint.Andrews can stick 3's with Karawanga all day.Haddix is the super frosh that has rallied this team.Can rebound and score.Mitchell at the pt is the juco tranfer that has really surprised everyone.
This is a good MAAC team.Their only losses to were Toledo,Delaware and XU.In the XU game they stayed with them thru-out and lost by only 8.

The irony of my interuption was,l'box's best friend slept over last nite because of the storm.She needed a ride and her mother can't get out.so I just drove her home.She is a freshman at Siena.I just asked her about her team and did she know they were playing today vs Prov. She knew and gave me some inside information.She has been to 3 games.See's them all on campus because its a small school.She says Haddix she talks to all the time."I think he is from Philly and gets all the girls".I said "E" how about his jumper'? her reponse was "he's good".
Well thats it for inside info.
Prov. is coming off a big win vs Boston Col.But BC is not very good.Tim went to a zone in the 2nd half and BC couldn't shoot.But Prov w/o Mills looked like a rebuilding season.Losing Linehan their great pt gd,etc.
But McGrath a big freshman gd has added offense to this team.Gomes is a stud.can score inside and outside.Kabba is solid at the gd.Augustin is back and can score and bd.Douthit at 6'10 gives them inside presence.Laska needs to get tougher but can score.
Pepsi Arena will be packed today.MAAC team playing a BE team.I just think Prov. has a little more overall talent.Welsh knows Siena well when he coached at Iona.
Prov has been up and down.Stayed with Bama and beat Penn.
Think PU has overall better athletes.Timmy should pressure Mitchell and co and cause TO's.Not a big play though.Prov wins this by 6-8 pts.
Marist +3.5 over Manhattan
Game starts at noon est on ESPN.Its Magarity possible 300th win.They are at home on national TV espn2.McCann arean will be jumping.Jaspers more talented.But their best shooter Jackette is still out.Flores is a superstar.Holmes in the middle will overmatch the weak inside game of the Foxes.But lyr Eppehimer hit a 3 to win by 2 in the last 30 seconds.Think Marist plays with a lot of emotion today.And they also scheduled their Alumni game today.The "Dunk'in Dutchmen" returns,Rick Smits.Bot they all pulling out all the stoppers for this game.Add the 15 inches of snow outside and Mahattan "sleds" out of here with a 1 pt win.
