The Caps have a 2-1 series lead in this one. The Rangers have had many issues scoring in the post season so far as they just cannot put the biscuit in the basket. Rangers goalie Lundquivst has allowed just 1.59 gpg in the playoffs thus far, while Washington goalie Grubauer has allowed just 1.54 gpg in the playoffs.
Ovechkin is playing very well right now for Washington and that has been key for this team in the playoffs. If Washington wins this game it will be hard for the Rangers to come back. NY has averaged less than 2 gpg in their last 6 games. Tough to win like that.
