Alex Aragon to win 475-1

This is basically a Buy.Com type deal with the big players at the WGC tournament. Alex has won once each of the last two years there which tells me he is a winner. Given a "Groundhog Day" scenario of say 50 days repeated, Aragon will win once. Will he win this week? Probably not. But these odds are wholesale out of whack, I believe.

I followed Aragon for 9 holes, maybe 7 or 8 years ago. There was me, his parents, his wife, his sister, a couple of Asian guys and PGA officials in this little gallery. He spoke Spanish to his family, so that's a help I would think. His wife was hot, his sister was smoking hot.

He went to Stanford, unlike Tiger who "went" for 2 years, and actually didn't even really do 2 years. Tiger is NOT a Stanford grad or even a student for that matter. Don't buy into that bullshit.

If I could get a line on this guy I would blindly follow based on the above paragraph alone. Instead I will just root for him as I would love to see you hit this biggie. Good luck TJ

2 years ago I bet Alex to win, my first bet on him ever, Nationwide event, 250-1. He won. This was the one and only bet I ever had on him until today. I was following his progress for years though. That one bet fatted up my 5dimes account and it's still way over my deposit. Pretty neat. Thanks for caring.

Round 1 plays (4pts):

David Hearn to beat Alvaro Quiros -115 @ 5Dimes
Big difference in current and course form between these two. Quiros finished 5th in a weak Southern Africa Tour that wasn'tco-sanctioned with the European Tour last time out, but was otherwise not in contention in any of the Middle East Swing events, whereas Hearn finished 6th in the Honda Classic last time. In terms of history on this course, Quiros has played here once and finished 28th six years ago; Hearn finished 14th in 2011 and 6th last year.

James Driscoll to beat Nicolas Colsaerts +110 @ 5Dimes
Colserts is certainly the better player, but these are good enough odds to oppose him while he adjusts to life on a new Tour - he has just one top-50 finish this year in four attempts and he has never played this course previously. Driscoll has played in five of the last six years here, making the cut four times and, as well as securing four top-50 finishes already this year, he has finished ahead of Colsaerts in six of their last eight common events.
