Questiin: Drone Phantom 3 Professional

Kids want a drone for christmas, so just started researching today. The dji phantom 3 professional has high marks for ease of flight, range, video and photo capabilities, especially for rhe price. Watched a couple youtube reviews and read online reviews. All good, but i found nothing on age recommendations

Does anyone have any experience with dji phantom 3 or similar device? Will 9 and 11yo boys be able to work this thing??

I own one. This is a serious aircraft that requires FAA registration. It can really hurt people and cause property damage if you don't know what you're doing.

Looks like a blast, plus i can get professional use out of it. Surprised how clean the video is. I am buying this thing immediately, but will probably get the boys some toy versions for now and let them build up to one like this.

This is a good step to take. Piloting the dji can be difficult if you don't do it everyday and downdraft can cause problems to less experienced operators.
