Question about books and the Hopkins fight...

Just curious, does anyone know of a book that allows parlays on the Hopkins fight (i.e., Hopkins and under)? I've looked at four books so far and they either aren't offering odds on the fight at all, or they don't allow parlays. Is this normal for boxing???

Nevermind. After doing a little more digging, it's looking like parlays just aren't allowed in boxing. WTF?

5dimes may allow you to do so:shrug:

Nope. They were the first book I tried. I ended up looking at 6 or 7 books until I just gave up. And it's not just that parlays aren't allowed on the same fight, they aren't even allowed for different fights. In other words, if I wanted to bet on Hopkins and another guy in another fight in a parlay, I couldn't do that, either. I really feel like I'm missing something because that just seems ridiculous. Good thing I never bet on boxing. :142smilie

At 5dimes you can parlay anything, maybe just can't parlay boxing? You can parlay MMA, you can even parlay high school t-ball if ya want:142smilie

Yep. I've had an account with them for years. They have a line for the winner, but no line for the o/u of 11.5.

i see the line there, but not sure if you can parlay with winner of fight:

Roy Jones Jr. vs Bernard Hopkins - Round Prop
04/03/2010 105 Round Prop
Over 11.5 (-155)

22:30 ET Round Prop
Under 11.5 (+115)

No kidding. I plan on placing a very large parlay at this year's WSOB (World Series of Backgammon).

You'll be disappointed to know that even your Canadian brethren over at SIA don't allow boxing parlays. What's up with that, eh?

My bad. You're right, they do have the O/U as well. Can't parlay it though. I really feel like someone's playing a joke on me. :mj07: It just doesn't seem like a boxing parlay should be hard to do. Very strange...

I forgot to add... thanks for taking the time to look this up for me. Guess I will pass on the fight -- the parlay odds were going to suck anyway.
