Question about HDTV

what are the costs above and beyond the TV?

I have a chance to get a nice HDTV but i dont want it if its gonna cost me a fortune to watch it!

there is tons of great info from previous threads. do a search. read good things about buying from costco also (warranties).

My advice would be to get it.
I am a college kid with no money... I bought an HDTV from Best Buy using the 18 month no-interest financing... Best thing I ever bought. Worth every penny.

If you have cable it should only be about 5-10 bucks more a month to rent the HD box (basing this on Comcast and Cox)...I believe with direct-tv you have to buy a box which may run you 200-300...but not positive on that
