I love the Atlantis. I have been their twice and will be getting married there next August. There's three different towers - Beach, Corral and Royal. There's not much difference between the Royal and the Corral, but there is a difference in price and you get access to all the same stuff.

Book your reservations for meals before you get there (all the restaurants are great). There's so much to see there. I would definitely go to their site and take a look at everything that's there to see and you can also request a video of their amenities through the site. Casino hosts do an ok job comping, not like Vegas, but I'm a $25/hand progressive player (avg hand usually comes out at ~ $110) and they comped all the rooms and most of the meals for a 5 day stay.

The pools are gorgeous and there's alot of "hired" girlfriends walking around so there is much scenery. Make sure that you have sunglasses that ensure that your bride won't be able to see where your looking:eek:

Congrats and have fun

you are in for the time of your life, as you can see in the one thread if you could live anywhere well that's where i picked. Bobby has covered most of it , you will be so relaxed and happy when you are outside it's just a great feeling over there. very wise choice.

Bluegrass!
Folks just got back from there a few weeks ago, and they loved it! Besides the expense, both of my folks said it was the VERY BEST vacation they've ever had, and these folks have gone to a TON of places! However, make damn sure you bring your wallet along cuz my old man said it was also the most expensive place he's every visited. 12oz. can of soda for instance was around $6 bucks. He said dinner was always b/t $150-$200 bucks every night, and they DO NOT drink!!

Atlantis is beautiful 1st class place

If your luck isn't running well, take a short ride to the casino on the other end of the island:shrug:

When I was there during March madness we had to place our bets by phone or go across the bridge. NO SPORTS BOOK, however a 10 minute cab ride and you can wager at the Crystal Palace Hotel in Naussau. Solid sports book .....

don't let all the people around there hustle you out of money. They always want to carry your bags, or give you a ride somewhere and they keep hastling you until you give in so they can make some money off you. Kinda gets annoying. when I went, right when we got off the boat, there was lots of people there trying to get you to go with them, and some guy talked us into going with him of a tour of the Island to all kinds of places and made it sound better than what it was, so we went with him all day instead of having time to enjoy spots that would of been better to see. and they always want a tip.

I am sorry this offens you bobby, nothing was intended. The way I said it probley have been stated better.

Ironic that you would use an ethnic slur to describe the exact stereotype that your statement describes about you.

Maybe you should have said "don't let all the people around there hustle you out of money. They always want to carry your bags, or give you a ride somewhere for a few bucks. Kinda gets annoying. So be like me and be a cheapskate"

That way you get your point across and you don't sound like your a ignoramus
