I asked about this guy before the season, but I have another question. Josh Ranek, for Ottawa, I've noticed is hardly touching the ball. Is he hurt or simply being put back on the chart by better players? I work for a newspaper near where he grew up and my boss wants me to do a story on him, but if he's just riding the pine it's not worth our time, and there is very limited CFL resources that I at least know of down here. Your help is greatly appreciated.

Ranek has been doing Kick returns on a full time basis but Darren Davis has been the starter at RB. They use Ranek as a 5th receiver sometimes and he scored a nice TD against the Argos in this role. They do use him at times at RB but not as much as last year when he played the last 10 games but that was because Davis was out with an injury. I know kickserv has posted some good sites for the CFL and tsn.ca is the same as ESPN up here so you might find so info there. Or you could just go to the Ottawa Renegades site and see if you can find any other info. Hope this helps.
