I was just wondering if anyone had any good consistant stocks to invest in. Either Nasdaq or Dow. I'm not a big invester, just looking for those small to medium stocks that you can make some profit on over time. I have one now that I've had for a couple years and I sell and buy it on and off when I feel it's time and it makes me profit little by little. Any thoughts would be great.

Right side are you trying to find stocks that trade in a range, or just good long term holds.
in the long term hold area I own a railway called CNR (in US CNI), Cdn. National Railway is one of the largest (and well managed) railways in North America.
not to exciting but profitable and a low cost operator. good play on a rebounding econonomy. may want to avoid or sell if you feel the economy is slowing.

DMC on the Amex. Trying to buy more under $7.00 Got some a $2.50 and $5.50. I'm still a buyer but have taken some profits. Very little float and trades little.
