i'm new here but look forward to the wonderful contests that you all run here. just a question on them, when you say a pick will be void if chosen after the start time does that mean if a game is a sceduled time of 8:00, then what is a late post (8:00 or 8:01). also just 1 comment on the gameday baseball contest. i think it's a shame that after all the hard work put in by these people handycappingthe games that the last 2 days really is'nt handycapping for some of them; but rather lurking and waiting to see what someone else would pick. i've just seen it done yesterday and it worked out good for the person doing the lurking, but he was'nt truly handycapping. maybe as a suggestion for upcoming contests the final 3-4 days of the contests the top players should e-mail there picks to madjacks, and then they all can be posted togeather to make it fair.

after the start time would be after 8:00. just like the sportsbooks close the betting after the start time. duh!

i guess you could call that part of the strategy of this particular contest.

we don't NEED suggestions from a 1st time poster, although, somehow, i think you are NOT a first time poster (OR a female) and who are YOU to pop in all of a sudden with nothing but criticisms?

post under your REAL 'member' name, instead of being cowardly, and i'll take your 'suggestions' under consideration.

You know you're not alone on this planet and the world doesn't turn around your person. In any contest you have some rules to respect and if you don't like it, well then by all means stay away from them and don't blame the other ones just because a rule went against you. You're the only one to blame and you know it.

As far as the "kosar" thing, you know, I had my problems with this guy too and I don't have a lot of respect for him but at least he shows some integrity - something you obviously don't have - he doesn't hide behind a different name to say what he thinks. And I know for a fact that "he"'s not a woman and that you're not him...

Try to be a bit more imaginative... Besides I don't know any woman who'd talk like that.

Thanks for clearing *that* up. There was a very real danger of people thinking that I was kimberly/beantime.

BTW- the respect thing is mutual, although I have to say that if that Smile post was yours, it was pretty funny.
