Hello NCU! First let me say I've just started following your "teachings" on FTSM and STEAM plays with complete fascination. Can't even begin to tell you what a tremendous contribution you are making to this forum by passing on your experience and knowledge from "the other side" so to speak! Thank you very much! My question is this: In your opinion, which play would be stronger and more reliable....FTSM or STEAM? (Please forgive me if you've already answered this in another post.) Thanks again!

FTSM.

Steam Plays are only an indicator of syndicate action. I imagine JohnWise and others that have spent years on the other side of this business will all tell you the same thing. When syndicate action is hot it is red hot and when it gets cold it is really cold. It has been that way for 30 years, am I not right, John?

The key to syndicate action is to catch the streaks and ride them and back off when they go through their cold streaks.

That is not to say the FTSM PLAYS won't go through cold streaks. They will.

It is a grind, but the FTSM PLAYS shouldn't demonstrate quite the same volitility as the STEAM PLAYS. That is why I put them in two different threads.

Now everybody pray it keeps raining in St Louis. At least five or six inches all night long.
