clarification...anybody that gets this far undefeated from a major conference is obviously a serious basketball team...but,even though I don`t follow like I used to,i don`t remember hearing all that much buzz about the rest of the sec this year...the next best seeding in the tourney after ky was Arkansas at 5(I think)......notre dame almost pulled it off and you could argue that they may have played the better game of the two.....
maybe teams like n.d. and wisky, that play more of a structured game are just stylistically a tougher match-up for Kentucky(who seems to clearly have the best personnel in the sport) than the traditionally more athletic,free-wheeling s.e.c. style of play?........
or was the notre dame game an anomaly?... was it that one flat game that ky slid past and now are just so much better than everyone else that they cruise to the title?...
they seem to crush free-wheeling type teams like west va.....wisky could be a much tougher nut to crack ,maybe like notre dame was...
should be an interesting clash of styles...
