Question on Notre Dame

When a team plays at Notre Dame are the refs always from the visiting school's conference?

Also, when Notre Dame plays on the road who decides what conference the ref's will be from?

When a team plays at ND the visiting team bring refs from their conference.

When ND plays on the road they use Big East refs most of the time. I'm not sure why Big 10 refs were used when they played at Michigan this year.

Just like any other OOC game - the schools agree to who the refs will be when they sign the contracts for the games. Sometimes there might be a mix - Saturday was a Pac 10 crew but the replay ref was Big East

When ND is at home they always use a Big East replay official... But like I said the visiting team always bring refs from their conference.
