Question on Pop-up website???

How do I get rid of those pop-up website. Besides downloading those so called "eraser", is there any other ways of doing it. It is really pissing me off...slowing down my computer...

One more question. Some of those pop-up websites are always the same, no matter what websites I am surfing. So my question is if those pop-up websites are already hidden somewhere in my computer.
