I have not made a withdrawal from an online sportsbook in many years. Have not
played online much for quite a while. I am in the US.
My question: Is there any reason I should not request my withdrawal as a "bankwire"?

Not sure the smartest way to withdraw funds. The other option is: check / Gift Card.
Thanks for any advice

It depends on the book. I got a check from Intertops and they sent it for collection because it was out of country and it took 6 weeks to hit my account. I take checks all the time and it's never been like that one. Bank wire is fine, I use that 80% of the time and that usually takes only a few days.

Thanks Jack

Thanks Jack

Thanks Jack. I guess I am trying to ensure their is no liability on my end receiving a payment from a sportsbook via a bank wire. Love the days of "Net Teller". Was so
easy to move funds and manage multiple online sports books. Thought for sure they
would have legalized this in the US by now.

There's no law saying you can't receive money from a sportsbook but nobody will know it's from a sportsbook anyway. Keep on cashing. :toast:

Do you guys feel like bank wire is the best option? Or the moneygram or western union option?

I find it that a lot of books have caps on wu or mg withdraws and I hate that!
