Has anyone else received an inordinate amount of email spams lately? I've always gotten my fair share(4-10), but lately they've been killin' me! The last few weeks have been terrible. Today alone, I've gotten over 30! I'm guessing that the difficult economic situation our country is in, is probably the main reason for all this useless chit!

I also heard the other day on CNBC, that brewery stocks perform extremely well when the market head souths. They had an analyst on saying that Anheiser Busch was his top pick b/c of the economy. I'm guessin' people like to get all liquored up to take their mind off the slumping economy. I've never really thought about it in those terms...

the Beer Nortel stock is funny, however if the same worker invested bought 1000 shares of Nortel at the start of 1999 $20cdn, and then sold them in mid 2000 for $120. the worker/investor would have made $100,000, not bad for less than 2 years, is it....


the market will climb higher, I like equities over CD/GIC paying 2-3%.

there is still a lot of garbage (stocks) however there is in any market.

I seem to have noticed an increase in the junk myself. The stock anaylsis makes sense to me, but I drink a lot of beer all the time, who needs a bad economy or terrorists for an excuse!!
