Stojakovic suspended one game

New York, NY (Sports Network) - The NBA Wednesday suspended Sacramento Kings guard Peja Stojakovic one game for making improper contact with a game official.
Stojakovic brushed referee Bernie Fryer late in the second quarter of Tuesday night's 114-97 win over Memphis. Stojakovic received a technical foul, but stayed in the game, where he eventually poured in a career-high 41 points.
The sixth-year pro will miss the Kings' Christmas Day game against the Dallas Mavericks.
In 26 games this season, Stojakovic is averaging a career-best 24.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. For his career, the 26-year-old has posted averages of 17.3 points and 4.8 rebounds per outing.
