Ok I have a question....
At night I kick at a indoor soccer facility and the field is about 30 yards and there is a net that catches my kicks. Well that net is about 30 feet high and the cieling is about 34 feet high.
The quesiton is this....whats my trojectory if Iam hitting the cieling from 15 yards out? Now dont forget....30 feet high is how high the uprights are in college...from the ground to the top of the uprights.
Wow that I think about it....when I was kicking it and it was hitting the cieling that ball kept on turning over and it would of went even farther. Hmmm.....I wonder what my maximum height would be. My goal is to do what Todd France did this year. Against Western Michigan he kicked a 42 yard field goal that was evenly high with the upright as it passed the upright. So at 42 yards.....that ball was 30 feet high as it passed the upright. My 42 yard field goals probably get around 22 feet high as the ball passes the upright.
This is for people who knows physics actually. Ive been trying to solve this for the last 2 hours and I cant find a legit formula for it. So any help would be appreciated. THANKS
