last sunday night i'm down a dime. i played the seatle mariners +120 for 8 bucks to win 960. the game was called but it was graded a final. did anyone else play this, and if so, did you get paid on it? i figured that if it was a final and there was a winner and a loser then i would be a winner (seatle-5 chi wsox-1)

anyway, my book came in to collect the dime and i call bullshit. he says,"i've been doing this 6 years and thats how my rules have always been"........"the games gotta go the distance. "

i figure,o.k. if your gonna have your own rules, why the fucc don't you tell your players about it"

my question to all that plyed this game is, did you get paid?

That's the biggest nonsense I have ever heard. The game was offical there was a winner and a loser. If you had played the WSOXS, you probably would have had to pay up!!!!!!!!

i completely agree lefty. it's real wierd, because lately i've been a weakly atm machine for this guy. i would think he wouldn't want to piss my business away.

the thing that pissed me off more than anything was when he walked into my store and assumed that, of course i owed him, of course the game was no action. he was playing the 'i'm so shocked that you didn't know that role.

You should have held your ground and let him know that unlike his other customers you know the rules. The game was official and at worse you owed him $40.

If he's already collected the dime there's not much you can do now. With bases and this having the potential to happen again during the course of a season, as mentioned in other posts I'd take my business elsewhere.

i've got another guy i use so i'm cool there. i didn't pay him, he said he was going to carry it over to the next week. hell when he left i was wondering if i was maybe wrong and the game wasn't official. clearly though, i was right. i have yet to speak with him about this.

he's actually a very legit book, my dads been playing nickles and dimes with him for 6 years. (note:LEGIT in this sentance means stability in the business)

I bet the total in that game with my guy and that play is a " No Bet".... must go 8 1/2 innings. But that's only with totals.
