abc: I hope some of this helps . . .
(1) I did a few google searches on attending college and came up with one useful link, but it's from back in 2001, and it didn't lead me to a more successful search (check out the 2nd set of alphabetical listings):
http://www.findarticles.com/p/articles/mi_m0HFI/is_1_52/ai_68873998
(2) Stan's tour-tips web site has almost everything you could want in terms of stats, it just keeps getting better (looking forward to the "playing partners" data base search which will soon be launched), and would be a bargain at twice the price. Anyway, there are archived event stats back to 2000 (available as Excel files), and as a for instance, I can quickly tell you the following re 2005 Sony Open:
Name - Rank - Stat-
GIR:
Singh - 6
Els - 10
Howell - 6
DAcc:
Singh - 41
Els - 67
Howell - 56
Maruyama - 20
Etc.
(3) Since we're on the topic of research, will add one more item I definitely think is worth adding, a great resource tool I just discovered this year, which is an archive of interview transcripts. Here's the link:
