quick question on ohma

i was playing reg ohma and i had 94k2 and flop came 99q turn came an 8 and river came a q and the dude with pocket 8's beat me is there somthing im missing here cause im kinda new to playing ohma or did i get screwed??

why are in you the pot with that hand unless in
the big blind.


anyway, you have trip 9's with a king queen kicker and he has 8's full of queens. he obviously wins. you need to use two cards from your hand at all times. hope that helps but it probably doesn't.

Yea makes sense . I really dont play ohma much i was just drinking and playing somthing differnt thanks for the help though

BBD is correct you have to use 2 of the 4 cards in your hand. But those 2 cards may change when the turn comes and the river comes..
