Heading out over Easter and am going to book the room. Question is: Is it worth it to have a balcony as part of your room so a person can hang out there, have a drink with the wife, etc. Or is it not that big of a deal?

I thought it would be fun to have one but don't know which hotels have balconies. I looked into the Monte Carlo but they don't.
.......
1. Is it worth it to have one?
2. If so, which hotels offer a balcony?

Thanks guys.

i'm sure i've stayed at 15 different properties and the only one that had a balcony was the hilton but there wasn't even room for a chair out there.

you don't need one.

i guess if you stay at a condo, not casino, they might be more available.

i'll take a guess and say that casinos don't have them because they don't want their guests jumping off (i'm serious).

Thanks Jack. In hindsight its probably just a waste of time and money. I saw one hotel offered it and thought maybe it was a common thing.

Screw it, don't need to overthink this.

if you havent booked your room yet, I would suggest looking into Hotwire, there are some amazing deals on there

No I haven't booked it yet, thanks for the heads up guys. The wife and I are heading out for a much needed vacation and it would be nice to end up in a place as nice as the Wynn!

Thanks

no balconys for obvious reasons, see jacks post.......

That makes sense, I just remember seeing one hotel offered it for some of the rooms and thought it may be common. Obviously what Jack said makes a ton of sense in a town like that!

Got one more question for you guys:

I have heard about the ticket kiosks on the strip being the place to go when a person wants show tickets. I heard the tickets are half price at a certain time of the day at these kiosks....true?

My question is what time of the day is the best to get there? Do they put them up for sale at a typical time every day, etc?

Thanks!

there's a ticket window (TKTS or something its called) right underneath the big giant M&M on the east side of the strip.

Get there asap. first come first serve. when tickets are gone, they are gone.

Spaulding,

If there is a show that you really want to see, don't plan on using tix4tonight. Get your tix well in advance, just to make sure that you have them.

If you just want to "see something"......go ahead and roll with it!

I am heading out over Easter Weekend. From what I have seen the choices are pretty slim, definitely not a hot weekend. So I will probably just have to take what I can get so we have something to see.

I am not a big show person but thought my wife would like it.
