Amost 15 days without a post?
Anyone have any 2003 golf punting resolutions to make this year more profitable?
Can't think of much here with exception may spend more time studing outrights vs matches. Not that I don't fancy matches just getting tired of seeing the same ole cloned matches every where.
Makes it much easier on the books when they throw same players vs players on the 72 hole matches and appears only chance to get fresh blood is euro outs that match up pairings during rounds and have to bite the ties lose there.
If anyone happens to run across book that lines unconventional pairings let me know.Safety in book is not big issue,no more than I wager it is worth risk just to have something to shoot at.
Hope ya all had had great holiday season and lets make this best year ever.

Best wishes DTB

Resolution - try to do better this year!

Will be interested to see how books tackle seniors, sorry Champions tour this year...they were much tighter last year.

Also, how Betfair impacts upon UK books over a full golf season.

Most of my betting will be LPGA and Champions...had three max bets last year, they all lost, but then they were all over 100/1! Will hit one sooner or later and that will buy me a year off!!

Boris, is it much better than last year?

I bought a copy for the first time last year and was very disappointed. There was nothing that would not have been uncovered by a very elementary study of any particular week's events.

I can see the value (?28 inc p&p) of it as a reference if you don't do your own homework, but you are hardly going to gain a betting edge with something so widely used.

Maybe my hopes in the "bible" were too high?
