Let's look at the news again today: another deadly and expensive week in Iraq, with no progress toward security or that elusive democracy. The best thing that can be said about the economy is that the rate of layoffs has slowed down a bit; and we can all go out and buy automatic weapons and patrol our neighborhoods. Sure, I'm going to ''stay the course.''

When things are at their worst and every decision one has made is wrong, it's that much more important to 'stay the course'. It shows leadership and strong conviction. Everybody knows that.

I can now understand why people supported Clinton so strongly and hate Bush. Surely the correct avenue is use the Clinton/Somolia tactics
---fck up-operations
----let em drag our soilders through the streets and burn them
--then run like hell.

Did you ever consider that the occurrence in anyway might make terrorist think that ploy will work again???????????

Wayne:

Your good. Kdogg takes a shot at Bush. Matt supports Kdogg's position on Bush. Instead of defending the position, you go on the offense and take a shot against CLINTON!!!!

A perfect example of republican tactics. Never defend, always attack. Use Clinton, flip/flop, trial lawyers, high taxes, increased terrorism, fear, strong leader, liberal senator, flag, God, patriotism, etc. Regardless if its responsive to the argument, always attack.

That way, you can distract long enough until after the election so no one will look at your own record. Carl Rove is a genius. And he has his minions taking the same approach. Cheers Wayne.
