very classy man....did an awful lot considering he was an amazingly small heavyweight...
what sticks out in my memory was patterson`s literally jumping in and throwing punches....
and beating the hell out of jimmy ellis and getting jobbed by,i believe, harold valan(one judge)...broke ellis` nose...busted him up...terrible decision... ellis was a damned good fighter...
