They need to buyout Abreu's contract, let Sheffield walk, trade away A-Rod somehow. And start the young kids, overhaul that team, their not going win a championship with these players. Obviously their piitching staff can't compete. RJ needs to retire, Moose needs to move to the 2 or 3 spot in the rotation, Wang is their ace now. Who knows what else Stein does to that team in the off season.

Which means they will go after Zito, Schmidt, um who else.... all these guys are gonna get payed big bucks with the yanks bidding on them. even if they sign elsewhere.

WOW, can't believe they are going down like this. PITCHING WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS and they just can't do it with their hall of fame lineup. Hats of to the Tigers I gave them no shot!!! My buddy played the Tigers for the series, and I was laughing at him... Just a shock 2me, but thats why the play the games, GO TIGERS, I hope they win the whole friggin thing now, what a great story that would be. Leyland is a genius...

IO I wouldn't worry about some major collapse, the Yanks would have to at least get runners on base for that to happen which they simply can't do.

8-0 now. Safe to say not even the best offensive line-up of all time can pull this one off. Yankees won't win a WS for another decade at least.
