Shot in the dark, but is anyone here from or familiar with Raleigh, North Carolina? I’m looking for a quality place to watch LSU Auburn Saturday evening.

Where are you staying in Raleigh? If you are near NC State I would go to The Brickhouse at 3801 Hillsborough St, Sammy’s Tap at 2233 Avent Ferry, Village Draft House at 428 Daniels or the Player’s Retreat a 65 year old college bar at 105 Oberlin. If you are downtown near Glenwood South go to Carolina Ale House at 500 Glenwood or one of my favorite’s My Way Tavern at 522 St Mary’s. North Hills has the Yard House and North Raleigh has Sawmill Tap Room. If you are staying in Cary there are several good places there.
I would invite you to watch on my 85 inch Sony but I record the night games , fall asleep early after drinking bourbon and watch commercial free early Sunday morning. Enjoy your trip to Raleigh.

Just checked the TV schedule and I see NC State at Clemson is on ABC at 7:30. I would think most sports bars will have that game on the big screens.

Thanks for the info, Lowell. We are staying at the Casso hotel downtown. As luck would have it, there is an LSU/Saints friendly sports bar called Sharkys a short Uber ride away. I plan to hit it for the LSU game Saturday night

My son is running in Cary Saturday morning and will be on an athletic visit to UNC Saturday and Sunday, so my itinerary is mostly full. There appears to be a pretty stout food scene in the Raleigh Durham area. Definitely looking forward to checking out your city

He will like running at Wake Med . Fast course. My son raced there for several years. He is running the D3 Pre Nationals at East Lansing this Saturday. Sharky’s is 8.5 miles from your hotel. Carolina Ale House and My Way Tavern are .5 miles. You are .6 miles away from Sam Jones Bbq at 512 W. Lenoir. Great ribs and bbq run by the grandson of the owner of Skylight Inn in Ayden that is regarded as best in the state. Family started chopping bbq in 1947. Good luck in the race.

Yes, Coach was concerned with that, so they shifted gears are now headed to terre haute, IN. I’m kind of bummed because Raleigh seems cool and I have to wait until next year to check it out.
