anybody got any view on MNF. have not seen a line anywhere but heard somewhere it will be aroubd 10 with Chandler starting for the Bears
This looks a total mismatch esp after Chicago throwing away the game last week.Only thing is that i am not keen on laying double digits favs esp on monday night but i cant see how Chicago can keep it close. The thing that bothers me is that Rams could play soft late on and give away a trash TD which means they dont cover.
Rams look too good to be true -10 but it never works out the way it should or the bookies would be out of business
would love to hear ppls views on this game

Ya, I also saw a tentative line of Rams -10 / 45, but I don't know how much that will change if Faulk is in or out. I don't know if I'd ever say -10 looks too good to be true. Sure the Rams are a much better team, but you have to be to be favored by this much. Teams don't routinely cover -10 spreads no matter how good they are.

I live just outside of Chicago and, being a college student, have watched just about every Bears game over the past couple years. The thing with the Bears isn't that they're inconsistantly good or bad or lucky ... they consistantly play to the level of their competition. No way last week, especially after Chandler went down, should the Bears have been able to stay in that game. But not only did they, they almost won it. The Bears keep games close. In the last two years, since the rejuvination of some kind of Bears defense, they have only lost 3 games by more than ten points and they were beaten by 10 exactly once. Two of those four games were against Green Bay and Brett Favre, who's had the Bears number since he came into the league. One was in the first game of last season, in a 17-6 (I believe) loss to Baltimore. The other one was one of the most disgusting games I've ever watched, a couple of weeks ago up at Minneapolis. All sorts of holes in the Bears D and a completely inept offense led to that game. Since then, they've had some players return from injury and thier offense has been more productive. I see a 31-24, 24-17 game here with the Rams coming out on top, but definitely not covering the 10 points spread on MNF.
