There is no way, I repeat absolutely NO WAY the Rams cover another spread this playoff season against these remaining defenses (Phi/Pit/NE). On top of this, the bookmakers are freakin' SICK of getting burned by these guys (AND the OVERS in parlays) that they HAVE to shade the line the Rams' way. They are scared to DEATH of these speedsters as they are an offensive JUGGERNAUT.
As far as making it to the SB, there is a good CHANCE they lose to Philly straight up as McNabb is playing very smart football and is hitting his stride at the perfect time. He's not gonna give these guys any "gimmies" like Favre did. He's just not the gambling "thread the needle" Gunslinger Favre is. He's gonna deal St.L FITS with his legs AND his smart quarterbacking. As far as Philly's defense, I think we all KNOW what they are capable of and they are gonna out hit the Rams and sock em' right in the mouth and the Rams HATE that (especially Warner which is ailing a little) as the Rams want to get into a sprinting contest, not a physical one.
IF they make it to the SB they will be playing Pitt most likely and will find out real QUICKLY they aren't playing the conservative Titans (which could have easily beaten the Rams with better play calling), but a team from the AFC Norris division that can run them right over with their punishing Offensive line and running backs OR throw a bomb to 6'6" Plaxico Burress OR that can give a dangerous run/pass option with a revitalized QB in Kordell Stewart. Pick your POISON Rams, you guys are marked men by these remaining defenses AND the oddsmakers!! Certainly not a GOOD sign for Rams backers/bettors THIS NFL Postseason. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
