OBVIOUSLY IT IS EXTREMELY EARLY, BUT I JUST TOOK A QUICK GLANCE AT OVER/UNDERS FOR THE SEASON IN TERMS OF WINS, AND THE RAMS ARE AT:

OV 9.5 EV
UN 9.5 -120

Pre-season hasn't even started but the over looks good IMHO.

It sure does. They are in an easy division. Worst case scenario they split with Carolina, but they should sweep Arizona and Seattle. That's five wins right there.

The only problem they had last year was thier O-line.

One thing to keep an eye on is this team needs a good 3rd receiver, and an OK/reliable 4th guy to make this offense flourish. If they have that they should be fine.

49ers are in the rams division, not carolina.:p

shouldn't doubt the seahawks next year. they've made some good moves in the off season.

holmgren has stepped down from g.m. to concentrate on coaching and ray rhodes is the new defensive coordinator.

seahawks should be better than last year.

but then again it is football anything can happen.

The Seahawks are a legitimate team and the 49ers are always tough. Combine that with the almighty airhead Mike Martz and I'd say over 9.5 wins would be tough.

Oops.......my bad. Either way, if they split with San Fran they should be fine. Seattle's defense is still nothing to write home about. If it comes to a scoring battle with Seattle, then I'd take the Rams. It is possible that they would get a split with Seattle though, I could see a close one being pulled out by the Seahawks.

They do have a tough schedule, but I see this team beating Detroit, Cincy, Cleveland, Minnesota, Chicago and Baltimore. Their tough matchups should come from Pittsburgh, Green Bay, Atlanta, and the Giants. Just remember that if the Rams are back in form, they can beat most teams in the league on a given sunday.

IMO only:

The only thing Ray Rhodes is good doing is temporarily disguising defects in a defense, and I do mean temporarily. He isnt good at teaching or evaluation. If he has a good defense before, it will remain good (only). If he has problems, they will remain problems. It may start out a little better, but quickly it will fall apart. At the end of the year, his defenses are worse than the year before.

Seattle needs help on their defensive line and their linebacking corp needs help as well. Teams ran all over them last year, and even though they signed Randall Godfrey, I'm not sure how much that will change. Trufant will help their secondary, but I never thought their secondary was that bad to begin with. Problems only occur when this team has to bring an extra guy in the box to stop the run and the DB's are left man to man.
