Haven't they learned from the last 2 years? They're still....

overconfident
cocky
wasting TO's
susceptible to physical teams
no sense of urgency

Their coach is the one with the overconfidence problem. He is the reason we lost the Super Bowl & the reason we lost today's game. The man makes good 2nd H adjustments but turns around & does something stupid to make his adjustments moot.

Yeah, Martz is, and it filters on down to the entire team. They just don't get it. After they lost to the Pats you still heard the players say, "Oh....we let the game slip away." Can't even give credit to the other team when they're outplayed and outcoached.

I don't think the Pats deserve much credit. If Martz isn't a freaking pussy, the Patriots get run out of the building. He finally decides to go with the 2 minute drill in the 4th & the Pats couldn't stop them.

I was going to start a post on this subject but apparently several Madjackers saw the same thing I did today.
The Rams' (most of them, especially on offense) had the same glazed over look on their eyes as Tyson did when he lost to Buster Douglas. Actually, they've had it the entire preseason. The above posts said it best but it's very clear to me that there will be no way to predict when and where the Rams will want to play this year.
I agree it starts with coaching, but, their offensive players don't seem to have any sense of urgency what so ever. Not so much on D, as they seemed to be flying around today, especially in the second half. Like the O is a reflection of Martz, I think the D is a reflection of Lovie Smith.
But they better get it together because teams are definitely coming after Warner and Faulk and if the rest of teams hit them like Al Wilson did today, the Rams will be relying on Jamie Martin and Trung Candidate to carry the load...
