He is officially listed as questionable as of this writing, but these situations are usually not resolved quickly. Projected starting DT David Faaeteete (knee) is doubtful Thursday.
Houston - Projected starting FS Will Gulley (knee) is expected to miss the season. Gulley was 4th on the team in tackles last season.

Arizona State - The Sun Devils may be without two of their star defensive players on Thursday. Starting DE Kyle Caldwell (knee) is listed as questionable but will probably see some action and starting CB RJ Oliver (quad) is listed as doubtful but it is highly unlikely he will play. Starting DE Brett Palmer (elbow) was injured in practice Wednesday and will not play vs Temple.

Arizona - The Wildcats are very thin at linebacker after injuries to projected starters Randy Sims and Ronnie Palmer. Palmer is out 6 weeks with a broken foot. Sims has returned to practice earlier than expected and may play Friday. Big things were expected from redshirt freshman Palmer, one of the stars of Mike Stoops' first recruiting class. Potential starting/reserve LB Spencer Larsen (knee) is also out another two weeks.
Utah - Starting WR John Madsen (hamstring) is questionable, could be a game time decision. Starting DE Marcus Ledbetter was lost for the season due to injury in early August. Ledbetter, a senior, tied for the team lead in sacks last year.
