The online betting crowd is expecting this to be the last season for head coach Jack Del Rio in Jacksonville. But there is speculation that Del Rio won?t last long enough to see the end of the season. At 1-5, the Jacksonville Jaguars are in disarray and the Baltimore Ravens are coming to town. The Ravens had a bye week in week six and are itching to get back on the field and put another game between itself and the surging Pittsburgh Steelers. Baltimore also wants to see what kind of progress quarterback Joe Flacco and the Ravens? offense is making as the season moves forward.

The Jacksonville Jaguars would like to avoid being embarrassed on national television, but it won?t be easy. Jacksonville?s offense is struggling under rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert, and the Baltimore defense has no intentions on making anything easier.

Ravens Jaguars Betting Preview: Baltimore Ravens

The sports betting fans in Baltimore are genuinely impressed with the strides that the Ravens? offense has taken in the past couple of years. The Ravens are ranked fifth in the league in points scored but still have a ways to go in generating consistent yards. Joe Flacco and running back Ray Rice are experts in taking advantage of scoring situations, which is what a winning team needs. But some consistency on offense would make the Ravens even more dangerous. That consistent offense could go along with one of the top defenses in the league. The Baltimore defense is ranked first in lowest points allowed per game and third in overall defense. It is an aggressive and hard-hitting unit that should bury the Jaguars.

Ravens Jaguars Betting Preview: Jacksonville Jaguars

In all fairness to Jaguars? head coach Jack Del Rio, he has not been given a lot to work with the past couple of years. The Jaguars have not had a dominating wide receiver in a while, and Del Rio was forced to play rookie quarterback Blaine Gabbert when David Garrard was released. The Jacksonville defense has held its end of the bargain this season as it finds itself ranked eighth overall in the league. But the Jaguars? offense is 31st in points scored and dead last in total offense. This is not the way that Jack Del Rio wanted to go out in Jacksonville, but he could only play the hand he is dealt.

Ravens Jaguars Betting Preview: Outlook

When the league?s best defense plays the league?s worst offense, it is never a close game. The Baltimore offense should be able to score points against the Jacksonville defense, but fans can also look for the Baltimore defense to put a few points on the board of their own. The only thing that the Jaguars need to watch for now is that they are not permanently ruining the career of quarterback Blaine Gabbert.
