I doubt he gets a better deal than the Ravens offered. Ravens must think so too or they would have used the exclusive franchise tag.

Rumor has it that Lamar wanted a fully guaranteed contract like Watson. He better lower his sights because that ain't happening. Matter of fact, the Ravens might be lowering their offer as well, when it comes time to deal again.

Lamar better get an agent right now or before the 15th. He's in WAY over his head dealing with NFL GMs and owners about contracts.

I've watched so many of these articles over the past month. This is one of the best, IMO.

This one is good too. You probably have to scroll back to the start, I don't understand why YouTube fuked up their embedding of videos.

Somebody will pay him...Ya gotta gave a great QB to compete.

Mahomes
Burrow
Allen
Herbert
Lawrence
Hurts
Rodgers[if at Miami ]

One of these 7 will win the Super Bowl in Paradise, Nev.

at least 5 additional teams are considered contenders w/Lamar Jackson as their starting Generational QB.
Some Owner/GM will blink on or before Draft Day
$$$....it only...$$

I was curious to see if Miami was going to make a move for Lamar. I thought it would be appealing with Waddle and Diggs and it being Lamar’s hometown.

Pretty sure MIA doesn't have a 1st round pick this year and maybe not 2024 either. I don't understand why a lot of people have been saying Miami is a good spot for Lamar. Miami can't even make a deal. Maybe Irsay will offer Lamar a fully guaranteed deal, Irsay's have a history of pissing people off.

Oh so two first round picks must be given to any other team that signs Lamar if not the Ravens?

Raiders
Detroit
Falcons
Cowboys
Vikings
Jets
Pats

In order of my liking for him that could make the move

Yep. They have to give up 2 first round picks if the Ravens don't match the offer.

Now I see some bringing up the miners which I left off the list because their 1st round pick is gone for this year

I just found this out....

The non-exclusive tag gives Jackson the ability to negotiate with other teams, as long as those teams have their original first-round pick in the upcoming draft and in 2024. After the 2023 draft, Jackson can talk to teams that have their original first-round picks in 2024 and 2025.

If a team signs Jackson to an offer sheet, the Ravens will have five days to match. If they don’t match, they get two first-round picks as compensation. A trade also could be negotiated in lieu of an offer sheet.

I've been hearing Colts mentioned a lot lately

That has to be one of the least attractive options

with this new development I’d imagine more doors have opened for Lamar

get an agent

Jack looks like you were right this whole time.

Nobody wants him

Maybe the Colts?

Harbaugh is a good bullshitter but maybe he's telling the truth and he'll play for the Ravens.

Maybe they should shorten the contract and give it all guaranteed or make it like 7 years $315 with $200 guaranteed.

I still don't know what I would want. I hate to see him go but I also hate seeing all that cap space used up. You really don't need an elite QB to win a SB if you have a top defense. I think I prefer a top defensive team. I don't know.

I'd hate the most if Colts or Pats get him. Skins too. See what happens.

this crazy

Ross Tucker
@RossTuckerNFL

?
12h
Career earnings:

Josh Allen $85M
Lamar Jackson $33M

They are in same draft class.

Last two years since eligible for new deal:

Josh Allen $67M
Lamar Jackson $25M

He's never making up that difference.

It's just sad. It really is.
