After weeks of negotiations, Brazilian striker and World Cup star Ronaldo finally was acquired by Spanish giant Real Madrid from Italian side Internazionale Milan on Saturday in one of the most expensive deals in soccer history.
The deal was agreed to Saturday, minutes prior to the transfer deadline in Europe. Real paid more than $46 million for the 25-year-old striker and a player of Inter Milan's choice to make available in the winter transfer window.
