No idea.
Eight teams, all from the South and West. No tv timeouts, and 60% less commercials overall. They are touting a 2 and a half hour show, far less than NFL.
I'll give it a watch. CBS will broadcast games.
The AAF's inaugural eight franchises are as follows:

I'm kinda shocked we didn't hear of anybody in the Pats organization dying in the weeks leading up to the SuperBowl. He was likely counting on one of his best angles (death, cancer, etc....) to motivate the team to play better.
How the Patriots won without some sort of disaster befalling them is beyond me.
