Actually, you're the only one pompous enough to think you're the only one. Same tired act.
oh sweet, Morse gaslighting and personal attacks from you. Same old tired act.

You can’t win on substance, so you try to come in here and bully anyone on the other team. Very odd.

The truth is, you won’t vote both ways in a national election, and we all know Gary definitely hasn’t voted both ways. So how about you stay on topic instead of launching your weird personal attacks

of course you will. so in your mind, those darn europeans are actually miserable, what with all the "Insane levels of regulation, government overreach and freedom of speech cut at the knees."

and the thousands of europeans who took the polls... let me guess... fake news? reality deniers? actually miserable, and you know because you have passports? OH, I KNOW... what with all the government overreach and no freedom of speech... THE GOVERNMENT MADE THEM SAY THEY'RE HAPPY!!!

wow, talk about someone who buries his head in the sand when reality doesn't match his narrative....

Why are you so angry?

I’m just saying that I’m not making my determinations on where I’m going to live, or how I’d like the US run based on some happiness poll. Look, I hate to break it to you, but I spend heavy amount of time European soil. there are less than 10 in my extended family living in the United States. Everyone else is either in, Spain, UK, or France. I spend a lot of time at all of these places.

My opinion is what a crying shame it would be for the United States to go down the road of open borders, extreme regulation, and stifled speech. If you disagree with that, I’m totally OK with it. Everyone should be entitled to their opinion. just know that mine is based on my actual boots on the ground in these areas, and I’m not just following some political ideology and certainly has nothing to do with some absurd poll.

Here’s a question, Why does it bother you so much that we have a different opinion on this?

LOL. You're worried about democracy and them doing anything to retain power, so you're going to vote for the candidate that tried to overthrow the government by inciting an insurrection after losing a free and fair election. The 80 year old incumbent candida Oh, surprises this new guy.

I know that Donald J Trump did not coordinate that mob, but I do not like his speaking out against Pence after the fence perimeter had been preached, and I don’t think he was aggressive enough speaking out against the mob. The timeline is very damming in this regard. Unanerican if you will

I find the dnc anti democracy. If there’s one thing the pandemic made me realize that I’ll never put up with those who want to limit free speech at all. I mean, are we finally able to admit that this virus came from a lab in Wuhan? The gaslighting on the lab, and on ivermectin , and pandemic of the unvaccinated was all insane. I received two vaccines and a booster. I’m not anti-vaccine, I’m not even anti-Covid vaccine, but the lies and misinformation spread by our government, and the gaslighting of those who were in opposition on any individual point, was extraordinary. The use of social media platforms to stifle discourse was unamerican.

I’m able to criticize both sides because I’m not a puppet of either. This is where you and I appear to differ. I do appreciate you not lashing out and attacking, tho

Maybe Cie is a black man?
I have met whn , he knows I’m not black. Btw, his brother is really cool. I met a bunch of guys from here.

I also gave Mad Jackie my plus one ticket to the NFC championship game New Orleans Saints versus Minnesota Vikings in 09. My sons were babies and my wife told me I could give it away as she was just as good watching on tv. Jackie came down. Myself, mad Jackie , mad Gail, and the Judge—may he rest in peace, all hung out, then mad Jackie and I went to one of the best games ever the following night . Mad Jackie is a really cool guy. He’s not actually mad like YYZ or this new guy smitty.

KS, you and I might not agree on politics, but You keep it loose and I’m down with that. Che

The guy that can't articulate a reason to "vote red" in a thread he started about reasons to vote red is telling others they "can't win on substance"? That's rich.

I never considered myself a Democrat until Trump became too much for me to handle in 2016.

Did you ever vote Republican in a national election?

I told you very clearly why I am 100% voting red no matter who they put up as their candidate. You don’t like my answer, But it doesn’t mean I didn’t answer.

Oh, so you understand well what they think of Trump in Europe. No impact on you, huh?

The US hasn't had an open border. Same border agents as when Trump was in office, just more people trying to come to the greatest country on the planet illegally because Republicans make the process a multi year affair. The Republicans killed the bill to beef up border security, so how come they on't get any blame?

What "extreme regulation"? What "stifled speech"? Help us with your "boots on the ground" experience in this country that only you can help us understand. You're definitely not just repeating a political ideology, lol.

Does anyone really care that you have a different opinion, no. Do they want you to back up your opinions, yes.

From 1996 - 2012, in national elections, I voted for a Democrat 1 more time than I voted for a Republican. In 2004, I voted for Kerry. Otherwise, I voted 3rd party because I opposed the two party system and never could identify with one or the other enough to support. That's changed in that I now am completely against all things MAGA.

OK, so what you telling me is that Smitty post a poll about happiness supporting of his opinion, but me being a dual citizen and knowing what life is and what life isn’t here and abroad means nothing? I’m the one who will be deciding whether I’ll live here or there when I retire. Am I so much of a schmuck that I would select here if I liked it better over there? While you talk theory, I’m just talking about my actual life.

Beyond that, I don’t even understand where you’re coming from. Odd that you’re checking me, but you’re not checking Smitty. Should I just post a different happiness poll? Would that suffice? Stark reality is, I like it better here. Like when I need to have my ACL repaired, it gets taken care of as soon as the swelling goes down. That’s not how it worked for my cousin in Madrid. I assume the reason you want more information out of me and not from Smitty boy, is because he agrees with you so you’re cool. You have major issues with me being on the other side. No idea why, but you do. But I’ll say it again, Everyone who doesn’t agree with you is not dumb, evil, or both

You need me to explain to you about stifled free speech? Did you not just hear John Carrie talk about it? Do you not think that stifling free speech is what transpired between the White House and the major social media platforms with Covid talk and with talk about Joe Biden son? Are you not aware that UK is prosecuting people for social media posts ? Of course you’re aware, but you don’t care. And that’s fine, but I do.

OK, so you’ve never once voted for a Republican in your life. I consider Republican and Democrat candidates every single election and vote according to which candidate I feel will improve quality of life.

And holy fuck, John Kerry?

In 28, I’d like to see who the dnc will nominate. Would love to see Shapiro vs Vance.

In 5 elections I considered both parties. 1 time I voted for the Democrat.
And, yes, I was against Bush and Cheney so I voted Kerry. Looks like it was the right choice in hindsight, even though he lost.

I doubt he would have been the 3rd worst president in history, like the guy you’re voting for.

I don’t know what happiness poll you are talking about. If you spend as much time as you say overseas, you know what I am talking about. They think Trump is a joke.

I am asking you specifically because you started a thread about reasons to vote red but can’t seem to articulate them. That’s absurd and something Cricket would do.

I have not said anything about you being evil or dumb, I am trying to understand what your reasoning is based on title of this thread.

I have. It heard about anything John Kerry said or believe there is anything substantial behind your accusation. If it’s just a one way street in your mind, come on. Everyone will do their best to cover up negative press. Like, if you tried paying off a hooker so she doesn’t spoil your bid for president.

First, my cousins have been calling every American presidents and leaders names and mocking our fun policy since my 20s. They hated HW Bush, called W a dumb cowboy , they loathe Hillary. All of my generation over there think Biden is senile, Trump is an asshole, and Kamala is dumb. Reagan, Obama and Willy Clinton are the only held in high regard by my people.

Secondly, You seem to think that I am a fan of Donald J Trump, but it’s just not remotely close to the truth. Can’t stand the guy. He’s led by expansive yet fragile ego, but he would be a good placeholder.l until 2028 when we get a better crop of candidates, ( I like Shapiro and Vance) . All I’m asking from him is for is some common sense border policy, common sense energy policy, and to stand up for our constitutional right to freedom of speech.

Win or lose, I’d like nothing more than for him to leave the political arena after this run. He has too much of a stranglehold on many Republican voters, and it’s been bad for the party in general. I did not vote for him against Hillary, I have never voted for him in a primary. In fact, my vote for him was 2020 against Biden after he won me over with strong presidency. He definitely prove me wrong in his term. Yeah, things got weird when the pandemic hit, and that hurt his insanely positive, economic progress, but none of these people are perfect.

HOLD UP!!

first kamala harris is suddenly black, and now Cie, I mean RI, is suddenly NOT black????

Madness Americanhousewifeabc GIF by ABC Network

any chance you'd care to explain why you pretended to be black?

I think it’s dumb for anyone to focus on her blackness or lack there of.

Sounds like Kamala has some black heritage , some white and half Indian . I don’t care at all that Kamala Jamaican half was half white and slave owners. She should be able to claim Black if that’s what she wants to identify as. We all have friends who identify as Italian when they are no more than 25%. And I couldn’t care less about slave ownership at this point. No one alive was remotely involved.

I agree that W was rough. If Kerry had not been caught lying about his service seems he would’ve had a shot.

I rank presidents in my lifetime as follows

1 Clinton
2 Reagan
3 Trump

Big dropoff

T4 W/HW/Obama

Big drop off

8 Biden

Another reason to vote red this cycle

Glad to see this individual came out on top, but we need to remove all of those from positions of leadership who are trying to take away our right to express ourselves as we see fit.
