I tried something twice a while ago with football betting and wanted to get some opinions on it.
I use Sports Interaction to place my bets, and on English Premier games they will have lines up on the specific score with pretty high odds. Say, you can pick Team A to win 1-0, or 2-0, or 2-1, etc etc. You can also Parlay the scores of different games. For example, this upcoming Wed Jan 30th I can parlay this if I wanted to:
Ipswich 1 Fulham 0
Tottenheim 2 Newcastle 1
Chelsea 1 Leeds 1
This specific parlay would pay 428 dollars for a 1 dollar bet.
So a couple of months ago, I chose 3 games I thought would be the closest, and played about 20 different combinations of parlays of the scores of the 3 games. Basically 1-1, 1-0, 2-1, each way. I put 1 dollar on each. I ended up getting the right combination on one of them, and for my 1 dollar bet I won about 600. The second time I tried it, two games were final already and the 3rd was the score I needed (on one of the parlays) and in the 90th minute, so I looked good. But there was an injury time goal and I barely lost it....about 550 this time.
Now I know this may sound like a really stupid method, but it does have some potential. I just don't know enough about European football to always pick the closest games. But when I look at it, I will waste 20 bucks + many times on bets, so why not try twenty 1 dollar combos like I did last time just for the hell of it.
So rebel, anders and any other football fans/cappers I have missed...
1. what do you think about this method?
2. what do you think will be the 3 closest (and low scoring)
games in English Premier this Tues/Wed?
I've found this works best during certain Tournaments because games are played tighter. Imagine if my book gave this option during the African Nations Cup last week with all of those draws!!
Just thought I'd throw this out there since I've found some success on it. Thanks for reading this if you did and thanks in advance for any feedback.
