GOING TO TAKE OAKLAND IN THIS ONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE RED SOX ALWAYS CHOKE IN BIG GAMES. THEY MAY HAVE WON THE LAST 2 BUT OAKLAND DID HELP THEM ALOT IN THOSE 2 GAMES.

RED SOX JUST CAN NOT WIN THE BIG GAMES.

You're kidding, right???

You're kidding, right???

GOING TO TAKE OAKLAND IN THIS ONE SIMPLY BECAUSE THE RED SOX ALWAYS CHOKE IN BIG GAMES.

This is most ridiculous statement yet and I have made some bad ones today. Oakland hasn't got out of the first round in how many years??? Mr. said right...they have lost 8 straight clinchers and who can't win the big game??? What do you call a big game anyway?? This isn't High School football. Was yesterday a big game??? How about Saturday night??? How about the Sox coming from behind, while on the verge of elemination, in the late innings two days in a row??? Are those examples of winning big games??? Let me guess you're putting 3000 units in Oakland to win 4000+ right? Can't win the big game??? You're nuts are hanging out the window, Guy. Let's make it Oakland losing 9 straight clinchers after tonight and we'll see who can't win a big game. To top it off Oakland has been playing the role of desparate team that will do anything for a win. Pal, keep in mind that on the verge of going home for the winter the Red Sox started John Burkett. Not Pedro and if we win uh-oh who will we start on 3 days rest. Starting Burkett yesterday is a sign of a team that is not pressing the panic button, a team that has confidence in their supporting cast. The A's have pressed the panic button twice now, actually 3 times...Once, by bringing in Hudson yesterday on short rest knowing the kid hurt himself in his last start, Twice, bringing in Foulke in the 8th because they have no set-up man, Three times, starting Zito tonight on short rest when you have Lily and Harden fully rested. No, my friend...the Sox are showing ZERO characteristics of a team that can't win the BIG IMPORTANT GAME while Oakland is showing every characteristic of a team with no confidence in its supporting cast and a team desparate know past behavior is the best predictor of future behavior. They have the most recent proven CHOKE RECORD. GOOD FLOCKING LUCK, GUY

I always heard that you BET the STREAK.. 8 losses in a row is definately a STREAK. It has to play mind games with OAKLAND.

I'm no major league coach, but wouldn't ya think that Boston will try and get hi pitch counts on Zito. Wait on that fast ball and blast it. If Zito is at 40 or higher in the 3rd inning, then Boston wins and the OVer is Gold.

As for Boston, unless Pedro is getting completely shelled, I think he will go the distance. I wouldn't take any chance on that bullpen to save a game 5. I think offensively it will come down to how well Nomar plays tonight. He's from SO. CAL. and would love nothing more than to play a great game in front of his family.

GL Gentlemen, I'm on Boston and Over 7!!!!
