Thursday Night is my 1st 4 Unit play of the Season. One more week and the trends start setting in but we can see some things after 3 weeks. One thing is clear, both Clemson and GT were supposed to have more rebuilding on the D side of the ball.
GT stats on D are knockout but they've played Mercer and the 124 and 126 rated Offenses, yet both their Rush and Pass D are near 40th. That tells me that GT is NOT a Top 50 Defense. Virginia Tech and Miami are always the two teams that are best at stopping a Paul Johnson Offense. Clemson is not on the list. On the flip side, Clemson's struggles on Offense are a head scratcher to this point and this is a National Television shot to look good and work things out before the Louisville game. You cannot overlook a 3-0 Georgia Tech team, especially when you're something like 3-9 there as of late.
I look for Offense to Roll Thursday Night.
