The Colorado Rockies look to make it four straight wins tonight when they host the Cincinnati Reds in the second of a three-game series.

The Rockies are 15-11 overall and boast an impressive 11-2 mark at Coors Field which is good for the National League's best home record. Following two wins over the Cubs at the weekend they beat the Reds 10-5 Tuesday. Aaron Cook (1-2, 5.79 ERA) starts for Colorado tonight and despite an up-and-down April it's worth noting his last home start was super-impressive...a complete game five hitter against the Padres when he allowed just one runner past first base thru the first eight innings. The rookie right-hander gave up just one earned run and will be very motivated tonight against his home-town team.

The Reds are 10-16 overall and just 3-8 on the road. Ryan Dempster heads to the mound for Cincinnati tonight and the right-hander is 1-1 with a 5.34 ERA in five starts this season. There are still major question marks over his command and mechanics and he has the dubious honor of leading the NL in BB's with 22. Dempster's career ERA of 4.83 and 48-49 win loss record are mediocre at best and against the Rockies he is 3-3 with a 6.94 ERA but that's not the worst of it...his record at Coors Field is an embarrassing 0-2, 17.61 ERA.

Colorado are 10-4 in recent meetings between these teams including the last five straight at Coors Field in which they have completely dominated the Reds in outscoring them 48-23.

We rode the Rockies to an easy win Tuesday and see no reason to jump off tonight.
