Weather is going to be high 50's or low 60's by and partly sunny.
We have had heavy rains the last few days and while the field drains well I suspect it will be a bit soggy.
This is Iowa's homecoming week--so lots going on. Purdue will pass the ball a lot.With Iowa's run defense being real stingy this year I doubt we will see Purdue even attemt many running plays.
Iowa pass defense is not good at all.This should be a high scoring game.I think 8.5 is too much to lay here in a game that will have Purdue passing this much.Also Iowa has shown in 2 games this year they cant hold a lead.
I think Iowa runs the ball a lot with Russell(2nd leading rusher in the nation),eats clock and keeps Purdue offfense off the field.

Not me. I have the team that can run tha ball. I have the team that can stop the run. Purdue will pass here because they have to. That does make a slight differance in how Iowa will play them. Back door cover possiable? Maybe, But I like Iowa by 10 or more.
Rain has stopped as of 3PM this afternoon-- lots of wind and cooler temps right now- more for tomarrow as well.
Iowa wins this one going away if they take care of the ball. Tiller may still run that gimmicky offense of his, but he doesn't have nearly the talent that he had when Brees and Co were chucking it around Big-10 stadiums a few years back.
Iowa is believing they have an excellent shot at winning the Big-10..don't laugh... they DO have a good shot at it. Only tough game on the schedule is Michigan at the big house- and I think its winnable. No Ohio State and thats the only team that worries me at this point in the season.
