I figured you saw the news about Davis "retiring"
I wonder if it was a bit of a push from either Ferentz or Barta?
As good of news as this is, let's remember who is in charge.
Everyone wanted O'keefe gone and once he was, Davis called the same plays. Hum-- wonder why?
If Ferentz gives the new O coordinator free reign to call his own plays Iowa will be alright. If he doesn't then it doesn't matter who is calling them. Run on 1st down, run on 2nd down, a 3rd down pass into the flat and be 3 yards short and punt on 4th down.
I'll call those plays for the 500k the next guy is gonna get for doing that if Ferentz doesn't cede control to him...
