Realize skins play first place schedule and that's one reason win total is not even 500 after winning the division last year. Many of the experts are predicting a slide back for Cousins and the team as they just got lucky last year with the NFC east being so bad. Well, I don't agree. Skins are a better team this year than last...Cousins is the starter from day 1...they won't play conservative like they did for the first 1/2 of last year...they might have be best or one of the best receiving corps in football...I believe they will be a top 5 offense in terms of points and yardage this year...I could see them averaging high 20s or even 30 a game. Cousins knows how ot run the offense and he has great weapons. This is passing league more than ever and they will surely pass and pass well
On Defense they now have two shut down corners and a 3rd guy to cover the slot...DeAngelo Hall is a talented guy moved to Safety and he is in his 2nd year at that position...linebackers are OK...pass rush is average...D-line below average...so overall D is average...
Kicking game is excellent as are special teams..so overall Skins are a good team, not great, but good. Gruden and his staff are very solid coaches so a plus there too.
So I can see the Skins going 4-2 in the East...figuring they can sweep either the Eagles or Giants...and in a win against Clev at home gets them to 5 wins...I like them to upset either the Bengals or Steelers...or both...Steelers D very suspect..wouldn't be suprised if Skins put up 40 points in the opener...so 6 wins..they will beat the Ravens...don't care if Flaacco is back..Skins O too much for their suddenly lousy D..so 7 wins...so need one more.Carolina and Cards tough out..but they should be able to win 1 or 2 from the NFC Central..most likely the Bears..but could see them beating the Lions as well...personally, I think they go 10-6 and win the division again.
Also like their odds at +350 to win the NFC East and 22-1 to make it to the SuperBowl....ya never know from season to season...Skins should be a highflying offensive machine this year..maybe they outscore the better teams like the Cards, Panthers, Packers and Vikings...
