The mall was quite full of people that day, and as the wife walked into a store, she realized that her husband wasn't with her. Since they had quite a lot to do, she was annoyed that he had disappeared, and called his cell phone to find out where he was.
In a quiet voice he said "Do you remember the jewelry store we went in to about five years ago? The one where you fell in love with the diamond necklace that we couldn't afford, but I promised you that one day I would buy it for you."
The wife got choked up, teary eyed and said "Yes, I remember the store".
