As sad as monday night network tv is why not
replay some old mnf games from the era of
cosell and turn out the lights dandy don
meredith?? Hell they repeat sitcoms that
weren't funny the first time out...I am going
to e-mail abc...can see Earl Campbell dragging two defenders down the sideline now!! My wife responded to the idea by calling me a "sick puppy" now if I can
only bet em again....

Tell you who I really liked. They did MNF on radio. Hank Stram and I think Jack Buck.
Stram was so good at looking at a formation and predicting a play. Had a friend who played with KC when Hank was coaching there. Said Hank was always concerned about how he looked. Nothing wrong with that. But I believe my friend said that Hank would be concerned about where the cameras were, etc.

Reruns of MNF, now that is a man really desperate for sports. They call this part of the season the "dog days of summer" in MLB, and the same could be said for broadcast sports. There is just zippy on! I guess desperate times call for desperate measures! There is always ESPN Classic, I suppose, but I tell ya, if I started watching reruns of MNF my wife would probably leave me!
