UAB having fun in the sun thing. As I was in Waikiki 2 nights ago, I saw a about 30 UAB football players racing on mopeds through the town. On the newspaper, UAB coach wanted the players to focus on 3 hours of practice, then set them free to do whatever they want. I know for a fact many of them were at the beach and soaking up the sun. I just hope they got too much sun and are all red and sun burnt. Cuz honsestly that stuff hurts a bit and will slightly affect them. Hawaii on the other hand is celebrating as well, but I know some guys who didn't celebrate and thats the Srs of Hawaii in Owens, Chang, Elimimian, Keliipiki, and others. Lets just put it this way, Owens has a wife and kids, he also has a chance to make a big impression to NFL scouts if he has a big game. He also guaranteed a UH win. This game controls the destinsy for the rest of his life as he has been the underdog being undersized and a walk ed on the team. 5 years later he's an All American. Chang is good too, but to be honest with you sometimes he can be a pussy, as he's afraid to take hits and is horrible on the road. This is not a road game, and Chang is trying to impress NFL scouts as well. Defense is finally heatlhier(only LB Ikaika Curnan is hurt), tackling better (that was their main reason why they sucked), and Elimimian (NFL bound) is healthy. Also RB Keliipiki will have a good game as he will bull over UAB defenders and drag many of them along with him. Theres also the intangibles of Hawaii's home field advantage, AUB having to be in the sun in BLACK uniforms, while Hawaii is in the shaded side. I also have a feeling June Jones is tied in with some big gamblers as last year he could have won the Hawaii bowl in regulation, but decided to try to score another touchdown by throwing it in the endzone, instead of running it. That action was kinda fishy if you ask me, lucky for Jones, they ended up winning it in 3OT. So there you have it, a little bit of insider things for you guys. Right now in Hawaii its looking like a great day, nice and sunny, few clouds, nice and warm, or in the mainland its probably hot. Good Luck on your picks.

You could very well be correct. Could be a distinct possibility he lays down here if that's true.

Was listening to the halftime show off the radio Wed night during the bowl game. The coach for UAB was on. He talked about how these seniors on his team have been shut out of a bowl game two years straight when they feel they should have gone both times. I think they keep it focused for tonight.

Man, Christmas got me so busy with the family I didn't get a chance to play. Dangit soljah, I didn't remember your Hawaii pick until I watched the game. Dude, you're on fire! And I also checked out Right Side on this forum, I've been frickin missin out on these winners. Is he the guy you said went 28-0 on the bowl games?

Today was probably not the team's best Christmas morning. Still, waking up in the tropics doesn't suck!

DrVic, don't worry theres still some good bowl games left to play to play. And I don't think right side went 28-0. I do know one person that went 20-0 on basketball games, he won 20K in that streak as he started off small then ended up letting it ride. But yeah Right Side has been doing good too. He did get a loss though to end the streak, but stuff does happen. But yeah I like to listen to Right Side for the NFL, and most times we agree on college games, with the exception of the UH/UAB game. But hey, everything I said that was gonna happen in the game did. Owens was the man and even returned a punt for a TD, Chang did good 400+ yards 4TDs and 0 INTs, Keliipiki bowled over some defenders and even injured one, Elimimian shut down All-American Roddy White. The only thing that didn't happen was the sun didn't show up, but we didn't need it. UAB got tired in the second half. Merry Christmas everyone, I'm gonna enjoy this moment. As I see the next year's UH team to be even better and more exciting to watch. My main picks are yet to come...
